Dior SS2012 Collection at Paris Fashion Week / Dior 2012 İlkbahar-Yaz Koleksiyonu Paris Moda Haftasında

One of the most awaited catwalks at Paris Fashion Week, Dior SS 2012 took place today at Musee Rodin, with a lot of celebrities,press people and prominant fashion editors.We were are breathless at Musee Rodin as the show went by.I was very much impressed by Karolina Kurkova, who made the opening of the show.

Coming to the collection itself; Dior SS2012 collection redefines the codes that makes the brand to present a modern silhouette.Inspired by the iconic basque of the ‘Veste Bar Dior’, elegant proportions are revisited and redifined to create a new contemporary luxury.Talioring takes its inspration from Monsieur Dior’s dropped kimono sleeve,reinventing classic Dior silhouettes with raised waist line and  wider cut neckline.

The colour palette softened with the tones of taupe to icy pastels and highlighted with Dior red.Clothes are accesorized with metal Dior chain,links on belts and shoes.

This collection – created by the Dior team headed up by Galliano’s former right-hand man Bill Gaytten. Gaytten said a shy  hello at the end ,very different style than Galliano who used to make a teatral show.Dior without Galliano lives on and seems to take a more classical direction.

Paris Moda Haftasının en çok beklenen defilelerinden biri olan Dior 2012 İlkbahar -Yaz koleksiyonu defilesi bugün kalabalık bir ünlü, basın ve moda yazarları topluluğu önünde Rodin Müzesi’nde yapıldı.Defileyi hepimiz nefeslerimizi tutarak seyrettik.Ben özellikle açılışı yapan Karolina Kurkova’dan çok etkilendim.

Koleksiyonun kendisine göz attığımızda markanın modern bir siluet sunmasını sağlayan öğeleri yeniden şekillendirdiğini görüyoruz.İkonik hale gelen ‘Dior ceketi’nden yola çıkarak yeni proporsiyonlar ile modern bir siluet yaratılmış.Kesimler Bay Dior’un ünlü kimano kol ceketinden esinlenerek daha yüksek belli ve oyuk yakalı modeller ortaya çıkarılmış.

Bu koleksiyon, daha önce Galliano’nun sağ kolu olan Bill Gaytten tarafından hazırlanmış.Gaytten defile sonunda, tiyatro showu yapan Galliano’dan  çok farklı olarak utangaç bir selam verdi.Görülen o ki Galiano’dan sonra  Dior’da hayat devam ediyor, ama sanki daha klasik bir çizgide..
